FinallyGot some of my photos from my summer class scanned in and soon more should be posted. My self portrait and Chances are just two of many images that I took over the 6 week course and ever few that I actually developed. After working with film I've come to appreciate the quickness that digital offers and the instant gratification that you get from digital work. After taking the course and absolutely loving it I've decided once I finish my current degree I'll be returning to work on a bachelors degree in photography. Our local junior college recently was granted 4 year degrees and upgraded to a state college and photo was one of the first ones to receive 4 year programs. So you should be seeing a lot more work from me once that all begins. Cant wait to start.
Hopefully new content soonSo its been about a decade since I wrote or submitted anything it seems. Work and school have kept me busy as of late, so has moving and working on finding a new job. Tho this summer term I was talked into taking a Photo I class to break up all the technogeek stuff i've been working on for what seems like forever. So nearly a week into the class now and hopefully once we get a bit more into it and start developing images I might have some to post up and share. I'll probably have my digital with me on shoots as well so even if I dont have any 35mm shots I can share I may have some digitals that I can toss up here.
I'm aliveWell I just realized its been over 2 years since my last actual journal posting. So yes I am alive and have been doing some art stuff. Mainly photography has consumed me. A little writing but nothing has completely come together for me. Not much in photoshop at all. With school and work and now being the care taker or 2 ferrets and a chinchilla I dont have much time. Tho with 2 ferrets I think its safe to say I'll have some pictures of them to share, even if they go to scraps.
I realized some of my photos have been building up on me so I decided that I needed to do a bit of a dump. Hope you enjoy it, I had fun getting the pictures, sadly October in Fl is boring and still green. Though going to the lagoon is a nice change compared to some of the other places around town.
I'll try to get a little more frequent in hostings and postings. Hoping to take a photography class this summer if money allows, thatll help learn me something about it and improve what little I do know.
